The John McGivney School Authority is committed to ensuring a smooth and supportive transition process for students entering and leaving the John McGivney School Program. We recognize that effective service delivery must address the complex and evolving needs of children, families, and community partners.

To support families in making informed decisions at key points in their child’s educational and rehabilitative journey, a variety of coordinated strategies have been implemented. These strategies are grounded in the understanding that navigating decisions about school placement can often be overwhelming for families. As such, the John McGivney School Authority prioritizes the development of clear, well-defined transition plans to promote consistency, collaboration, and confidence throughout each stage of a child’s educational experience.
