PA Day

June 26

Dear Parents and Guardians:

This is a reminder that students will not be attending school on Friday, June 26th as it is a Ministry of Education approved PA Day. 


The following is an outline of the professional development that staff will be engaged in over the course of the day.

Morning 9:00 am to 12 noon

Staff will focus on completing the transition process for those students leaving JMCCSA for their community schools and for those students who are transitioning into JMCCSA for the 2026-27 school year. This will include ordering and developing/creating resources and materials needed for those students to support them in this upcoming school year.

Lunch from 12:00 to 1:00 pm 


Afternoon Session (1:00 to 3:30 pm) 
In the afternoon staff will complete the mandatory Occupational Health and Safety Training and WHMIS training for the 2026-27 school year.
